Do you know that one of the reasons why people fail their SSCE examinations is because of the wrong choice of subjects? This is very true. So what exactly are the hardest, simplest and easiest subjects to pass in WAEC and JAMB? Well, get ready to find out.
Know this, some subjects are quite easy to scale through, while others are quite difficult and we must admit it. So let’s get right down to business.

Subjects with Practicals:
In my secondary school days, subjects with practicals were my prime targets. Why? The beautiful thing about these subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Computer, Home Economics, Agric, Biology, e.t.c is that once you can pass your practical very well, you already have a C6 in your WAEC for example.
All you now need to do is to put a little more effort into your main theory and objective exam, so that you can get an A or a B. This is one of the easiest subjects to pass in your WAEC, JAMB or NECO.
Mathematics in JAMB and WAEC
Unlike Physics which is more complicated, Mathematics simply requires you to understand the formula. Once you know the formula, you are good to go. JAMB rarely twists questions in Mathematics. When you know the necessary formulas in a particular Mathematics Syllabus Topic, you can get your answers easily.
WAEC and JAMB Mathematics marking scheme is very straight forward too. If you are preparing for WAEC or JAMB, you must be able to answer questions from
- Conversion from one Base to Another
- Decimal places and significant figures
- Simultaneous Equations
- Quadratic Equations.
- Direct and Inverse Variation
- Arithmetic and Geometric Progression
- Determinants of Matrix not exceeding 3 by 3
- Simple differentiation and Integration
- Permutation and Combination

- Construction And Plotting Graph (Waec and Neco Maths).
Just put it your best and you will be surprised how A1 will be sure for you in Waec Maths and Over 60% in Jamb.
