Bingham University
Founded in 2005, Bingham University is a traditional university owned by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA).
The only private university founded by a Christian group in northern Nigeria is this one. But the goal of ECWA was to address the audacious demand for a superior secular education that acknowledges and incorporates the moral and spiritual principles that form the basis of Christian faith. Furthermore, it emphasizes entrepreneurship studies to encourage university graduates to be independent. The National Universities Commission (NUC) of Nigeria has granted accreditation and recognition to Bingham University. The university provides a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs.
