How to Calculate YABATECH Cut Off Mark and Aggregrate Score.
- Divide your JAMB score by 400 and multiply by 50. Let’s say you scored 189 in JAMB, divide 189 by 400 and multiply by 50.
- After you have calculated your JAMB aggregate. Calculate your O’level aggregate using the YABATECH O’level grading system.
YABATECH O’level Grading System
Here’s the grading system that was used for last year. The same grading system might be used for this year.
A1 = 8.0 Marks.
B2 = 7.20 Marks.
B3 = 6.40 Marks.
C4 = 5.60 Marks.
C5 = 4.80 Marks.
C6 = 4.0 Marks.
For NABTEB, use the grading system below;
A1 = 8.0 Marks.
A2 = 7.20 Marks.
A3 = 6.40 Marks.
C4 = 5.60 Marks.
C5 = 4.80 Marks.
C6 = 4.0 Marks.
After you have calculated your total O’level aggregate, write down the score somewhere.
Bonus Mark
YABATECH gives candidates that are applying with one O’level result 10 marks while candidates that are combining two O’level results get 5 Marks.
Now that you have gotten the scores in the three stages, add the scores from the stages together.
YABATECH Admission Requirements
Requirements.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
- The candidate must make at least 150 pass marks in JAMB to qualify for internal screening by the Yaba College of Technology.
WHAT IS A CUT-OFF MARK?
A Cut Off Mark is the benchmark in which a student must meet in his/her JAMB Utme Examination so as to be considered for a Post UTME Examination or direct admission by the management of the institution he/she wishes to attend.
YABATECH Cut off Mark for All Courses 2020/2021
The admission screening is open to candidates who chose Yaba College of Technology as their 1st or 2nd Choice of Institution and scored 150 and above for National Diploma (ND) Full Time and 180 for B. Sc. Degree (100 Level) in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in the 2020/2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
